2020 has already proven to be a year to remember for the world at large, but for Design Reality, this year will be especially memorable.
We have been designing exceptional respiratory protection equipment since inception, but the health crisis has created unprecedented opportunities for us to expand our work. In addition, the month of October means celebrating several birthdays at Design Reality, with our Founder and Financial Director leading the way. Even more importantly this year, October marks our company’s 20th Anniversary.
Unlike previous big birthdays, celebrated on team visits to Prague and Iceland, our 20th year celebrations will have to stay local, for obvious reasons. However, that doesn’t mean we couldn’t be true to our style and celebrate our people and accomplishments with adventure, passion and some noise.
Birthdays are a good reason to take stock, look inwards, make new commitments and trigger self-improvements. This 20th year of uninterrupted company growth is a significant milestone in our industry, where few design consultancies survive the competition. We have a lot to be proud of, some success secrets to share with you and even a few bits of news that will fuel the next chapter of our company history.
Let us start with the positive, by putting the spotlight on our behind-the-scenes, where all the Design Reality magic happens. We will be publishing here wise words from our immensely talented designers and our tenacious Directors. We will also look at some fun Design Reality facts, such as product design iterations we’ve done through the years and films where our designs feature. We will re-visit 20 years of personal and professional transformations for our team (imagine the photos!). Through interviews, videos, CAD drawings and stories, we will show you the face behind Design Reality’s mask (pun very much intended), so you be the judge of how well it fits.
