FitCheck Technology

The RPE Problem

As RPE specialists behind the likes of the Vision C5, AV-3000 and the General Service Respirator used by the British Armed Forces, we know how important it is to have well fitted RPE.

In addition to regular fit tests, daily fit checks are an essential part of respirator use to ensure you are protected when wearing adequate and suitable RPE. However, a traditional fit check can often be overlooked and is an entirely subjective process for the wearer.

Health & Safety Managers have no visibility on whether fit check protocol is being followed. And employees could be inadvertently exposing themselves to respiratory hazards by not creating a suitable seal when donning their mask.

The Award Winning Solution

As experts in the field, we got to work on the award winning solution…

An in-mask, remotely monitored, quantitative testing device which monitors air pressure for breaches in your respirator seal. Featuring:

  • Pressure, impact and fall monitoring
  • LED light to indicate pass or breach
  • Bluetooth connectivity
  • Full app integration
  • Remote tracking and monitoring

Your FitCheck

All respirators are different.
That’s why at Design Reality we’ll work closely with your team to customise the award winning FitCheck technology to work in (or on) your respirator.

Here are just a few of the custom solutions we offer.

Our team of Industrial Designers, Engineers and Software Developers will work with your team to create a bespoke solution to fit inside your respirator/s.

In this example you’ll see a version of the system designed for the Easimask 200R, with custom light placement and clear plastic casing for enhanced usability.

An in-mask system isn’t the best solution for every mask however.

Ideal for full-face masks, with our award winning on-mask FitCheck system, users can don/doff the device as they would a filter without having to take their respirator off.

As a Design Consultancy Agency, we understand the importance of your branding.

That’s why our FitCheck technology and companion app are completely customisable to suit your needs.

Such as OHD USA’s QuantiCheck system, featuring the same award winning technology, but with bespoke OHD design.

If you’re after a cutting edge respirator design to go along with your new rebranded FitCheck system, we can help!

Our award winning 200R design is waiting for your rebrand. Fully FitCheck compatible, the respirator design features reusable 2-way filters, anti-fog transparent communication window and wipe-clean decontamination design.

If your product needs to meet the rigorous Made In Britain standards, you’re in luck!

As well as working closely with production facilities all over the world, Design Reality offers mass-production, assembly and packing services right here in Wales.
