Did you know, Design Reality has been 3D printing for over 20 years?
Our expert team of engineers and designers are here to help turn your designs into a reality – guiding you from paper to prototype all the way to production.
Additive (3D) printing can be used for a range of purposes and products. Whether reviewing a concept, testing a feature or evaluating a final proof, having a physical version in front of you is an essential part of the development process.
With three state-of-art industrial printers, we are able to cater for a wide array of additive manufacturing needs including mass production, high resolution printing, precision prototyping, multi-material molding, large build sizes and continuous multi-jet fusion productions.
Here are just a few of the different ways we’ve recently supported clients using 3d printing:
Using small batch in-house additive manufacturing as a precursor to traditional injection moulding, we were able to capitalise on the rapid lead times and resilient nature of the Nylon substrate offered by the HP4200 printer for fully functioning prototypes.
Additive manufacturing was used to create the final product due to its rapid lead times and lower production set up costs. The nature of the Nylon substrate selected, offered high strength to allow the frames to cope with the extreme environments the product is used in.
With Micro CT scans and dental examples as reference, we’ve been able to utilise multi-material 3D printing to produce a more realistic training tooth, to bridge the gap between Endodontic training and performing real-life procedures.
